Here are some skeins from Abel

Abel 1 & 2 -- both of these are from the same run.  Both are 3-ply and 9sts/inch.  Each is very uniform as you can see in the pictures.  Both have some loose kinks that will not affect their use or appearance made into something; you see see a few of these kinks near the center of the second picture of Abel 2.  Although these feel softer than wool, Abel did not have a small micron count so this is not as soft as most other alpaca yarns.

Abel 1 --8.1 oz, 140 yds, 9 WPI, 3-ply, Dyed with red food coloring  Cost: $60 SOLD

    Before dyeing

    After dyeing

Both skeins below are from the same run.  The 4-ply is very "heavy" and ropey.  Although named green the color is more like a heathery teal.

    Able green 1 -- 10.8oz(307g), 102 yards, 6.5 WPI, 4 ply  Cost: $80

    Able green 2 -- 12.6oz(360g), 112 yards, 6.5 WPI, 4 ply Cost: $93
